CompuPharma is an e-Learning company that develops and hosts e-Learning content and Learning Management Systems for Pharmaceutical clients as well as clients in a range of other sectors. Content is delivered via both Internet and intranet channels.
CompuPharma currently has a vacancy in its IT Support and Software Development team for an enthusiastic individual who possesses a range of IT skills. The role will involve the set-up, support and maintenance of User Accounts on CompuPharma’s Skillpad Learning Management Systems, particularly MySkillpad, our Web based LMS. The role will involve working closely with clients to resolve queries in a timely manner. In addition, the role will involve integrating CompuPharma e-Lessons into 3rd party Learning Management Systems. Some LMS development and testing will be involved, along with general in-house IT support.
Applicants will ideally have practical experience in each of the following:
- Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0.
- Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP).
- Good understanding of SQL and Transact-SQL.
- Ability to write triggers and procedures.
- Unit and Integration testing.
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong Documentation skills.
- Good problem solving capabilities and strong attention to detail.
- Working directly with clients in pre-sales and post-sales support.
In addition, knowledge of the following area would be an advantage:
- Pharmaceutical IT experience (particularly a knowledge of computer validation).
- Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS).
- SQL Server – Enterprise manager and Query Analyser tools.
- Macromedia Dreamweaver / Flash.
- Development of Installer programs e.g. InstallShield.
- Oracle database experience.
- Other Internet technologies (ASP.Net/VB.Net, Java, JSP, Perl, XML, CGI, etc).
