CompuPharma develops highly interactive e-Learning and other Training Products for clients in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Industries. A vacancy exists for the position of Pharmaceutical Writer and Quality Controller. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a scientific or engineering background and an ability to write instructional material. This multifaceted role involves writing instructional content based on customer requirements and research, and collaborating with a multimedia production team. In addition, it will involve product quality control and quality system functions.

Duties:

  • Research, write, and edit scientific and technical content for use in web, e-Learning and printed media.
  • Collaborate with pharmaceutical and other Subject Matter Experts
  • Play an active role in storyboard design for media rich e-Learning products using appropriate instructional design practices
  • Perform quality reviews of completed training products
  • Manage internal Quality System
  • Research and identify relevant lessons and courses
  • Design layouts for manuals, catalogs, etc.
  • Troubleshooting

Skills/ Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree/Postgraduate Qualification in Science or Engineering
  • Technical Writing/Science Communication Qualification or relevant experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (English)
  • Ability to work within a team and achieve agreed schedules
  • Proof reading
  • Detail oriented and self motivated
  • Work within a team environment
  • Adhere to strict timelines and deadlines
  • Work with clients to determine training needs and deliver specified products
  • Computer Literate (MS Office)

Experience:

Ideal candidates will have proven ability to communicate and write technical and scientific material.  Some experience in the Pharmaceutical industry or other GMP regulated environment is desirable.  Quality System and/or documentation management experience would be an advantage.
