History
CompuPharma was founded in 1995 by Dr. Ed Carey and Anthony Birchall as a campus company of the Institute of Technology Tallaght (Dublin, Ireland).
Since then, CompuPharma has been helping companies in regulated industries, particularly pharmaceutical drug manufacturing, biotech and medical devices, meet their training, productivity and compliance challenges by using technology to improve and enhance knowledge acquisition.
The company’s principal area of expertise is the application of e-Learning technologies to meet industry training and productivity needs in areas such as operations, compliance, equipment, process and maintenance. The main industry sectors served are finished dose pharmaceuticals, active pharmaceutical ingredients, and biopharmaceuticals.
In 2004, management of CompuPharma became the responsibility of Barry Boyle - CEO
